Robbie completes the team

The two of them were together at Burnley for a season and a half but never played together but you were in no doubt and both were more than easy winners. This time it was Blake and he polled over 65% of the vote to win the place.

Ian Wright has been the third highest in the forward polls but he fell just behind Gareth Taylor in this particular vote with Taylor taking just under 10% and Wright just over 7% whilst such as Ian Moore, Dimitri Papadopoulos and Liam Robinson have hardly collected any votes between them.

It’s difficult to remember the early days of Blake now, the player brought in to help clinch promotion who wasn’t even fit enough to play and the player who started the following season having forgotten his boots and having to play in diving boots.

By the time he left he had become one of the best forwards in the divisions and was surely well on his way to going past twenty league goals. Even though his departure upset the fans, and maybe he will never be forgiven, it has certainly not affected his vote when it came to choosing our best.

The full team is now below including the five whose votes have earned them places on the subs bench. Now all that remains is selecting a manager for the team and there are five to select from. This runs for the next three days after which our team of the last ten years will be complete.
