The Clarets reserve team slipped a place in the league tonight, going down to sixth as Tranmere won whilst we lost.

We lost 6-1 at Huddersfield tonight after starting the game brightly but this defeat will cost us nothing if we win both our remaining games next week against Preston and Barnsley. Two wins and we will be Avon Insurance League Premier Division Champions.

It is all in our own hands although Preston, our last opponents next Wednesday, do currently look favourites to take the title with our other opponents Barnsley second favourites. Tranmere are in with an outside chance of winning it but realistically it is now between Preston, Barnsley and ourselves.
