It will be a strong Burnley line up too and it is now almost difficult to believe that until recently we were turning out with just about a team of scholars who were suffering because of the lack of experience.

All five substitutes from Saturday will play alongside Alan Moore who is looking to regain full fitness and played another 70 minutes on Saturday. They will be joined by two trialists, one of whom has already featured.

Alan Hunter played in two reserve games before Christmas at Huddersfield and at Walsall and he is back again whilst Tottenham’s Jonathan Black who was in the team last week is again in the line up for his first chance with the Clarets.

King Arthur is on his way out of Burnley, but not to QPR, he’s on the coach to Bradford having recovered from his hamstring injury and he will partner youth team skipper Ryan Townsend at the back. Townsend is the only scholar in the starting line up.

The one problem is that there is not a single recognised striker in the team which is:

Paul Rachubka, Dean West, Ryan Townsend, Arthur Gnohere, Alan Hunter, Jonathan Black, Paul Weller, Bradley Orr, Alan Moore, Luke Chadwick, Matt O’Neill. Subs: Michael Hale, Joe Booth, Neal Trotman, Marc Pugh, Rhys Carpenter.

Bryan Robson himself names plenty of experience including Simon Francis and Ben Muirhead who are both getting in a game because they miss Saturday’s first team game because of suspension.

Gareth Edds and Robert Wolleaston, two players transfer listed recently by Robson, also play.

Bradford City will select from: Clint Davis, Gareth Edds, Jake Wright, Tom Kearney, Peter Folkes, Simon Francis, Ben Muirhead, Michael Standing, Danny Forrest, Robert Wolleaston, Liam Flynn, Tom Penford, Kevin Sanasy, John Swift, Sam Denton, Anthony Doherty.
