Reserves suffer another defeat

In fact the Clarets went in front with an early Damien Hindle penalty and led for much of the game before Tranmere came back in the second half to score twice, the second in the 90th minute.

This our sixth home defeat in six games and tonight was the first time we have even been in front in a game at home this season.

We will be looking to change all that in our next Turf Moor game which will be played in four weeks time against Oldham. There is just one away game before then, in a fortnight's time against tonight's opponents Tranmere.

Our full match report will follow.
