In fact the attendance was over 500 but with the ticket turnstile suddenly closing its door some five minutes before kick off a number of us walked in via the now open exit gate. It can only be assumed that all of them were season ticket holders and that the cash strapped Clarets didn’t miss out on any money.Our suggestions of an Argentinian trialist, Elias Bazzi, playing were correct and despite suggestions elsewhere that he would start on the bench he was in the starting line up in his favourite position of left-back. He played just the first half.
