Reserves in action at Stocksbridge

Bracken Moor
The game has been moved from the palatial surroundings of Hillsborough to Bracken Moor Lane, the home of Stocksbridge Park Steels. It is believed to have the best playing surface in the whole of non-league football although the photograph does suggest otherwise.

Lenny Johnrose makes his third Burnley debut and he will line up alongside Nathan Abbey who despite being with the club for some number of weeks in two spells has still to play in any fixture for us.

To add to that we also include a trialist Alexander Davis and the team is strengthened with first team players Lee Roche, Mark McGregor, Luke Chadwick and Alan Moore.

There is also a welcome return via the subs bench for Joel Pilkington who has been missing with illness.

The full team is:

Nathan Abbey, Lee Roche, Mark McGregor, Ryan Townsend, Paul Scott, Marc Pugh, Joel Pilkington, Lenny Johnrose, Luke Chadwick, Alex Taylor, Alan Moore. Subs: Michael Hale, Danny Pitham, Neal Trotman, Joel Pilkington, Tom Ince.

Things are looking pretty desperate for us at the bottom and we are six points adrift of third bottom, a win this afternoon is vital.
