Reserves back in action

This will be our first game at this level for four weeks, since the afternoon 2-1 defeat at Bury on 18th September. Most of the clubs have been taking part in the Avon Insurance League Cup but the Clarets once again chose not to enter the competition.

With so many injuries at the club it will probably be another young team that turns out against the team in fourth place and it will certainly give the likes of Earl Davis, Andy Leeson and Andrew Waine, all now too old for the youth team, to get back into competitive action.

Whether Stan will give Brad Maylett a run out after his return from injury or even play Andy Payton who hasn’t kicked a ball in anger since August remains to be seen.
