Jon Harley - expected to play

We go into the game with maximum points from our first three games and in second place in the table. Current leaders Preston are three points ahead although they have played twice as many games as us.

We've no team news but I think we can expect the side to be a mixture of youth and experience with such as Brian Jensen, Jon Harley, Joey Gudjonsson, Steve Jones and Jay Rodriguez expected to be in the line up.

Our opponents Tranmere are in mid table with seven points from four games. Their solitary win was a 2-1 victory over Rochdale in which Terry Gornell and Danny Holmes scored. Gornell also netted their other goal this season in a 1-1 draw at Morecambe.

Kick off is at 7:00 p.m. and will be played at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, home of Accrington Stanley.
