Amadou Sanokho - plays for the reserves
A win will see the Clarets off the bottom, they kick off just one point behind the Shrews and would certainly climb at least that one place.

Coach Mark Yates will provide the experience on the pitch for the Clarets alongside Amadou Sanokho who starts as do all the outfield subs from last night.

Brian Jensen though sits this one out with Michael Hale in goal in a Burnley side that lines up:

Michael Hale, Joel Pilkington, Neal Trotman, Chris McCann, Paul Scott, Marc Pugh, Amadou Sanokho, Mark Yates, Nicky Platt, Matt O'Neill, Alex Taylor. Subs: Mark Crossley, Martin Reilly, Darrell Avery, Cayne Hanley.

Shrewsbury have a stronger than usual side out with four first team members making their way back from injury and illness in the game.

Trevor Challis and Dave Edwards (hamstring), Ross Stephens (groin) and John Grant (flu) all return this afternoon.

There’s also a familiar face for Burnley fans in central defender Dave Walton. He played for the Clarets in the pre-season game against Dundee United. At the time he was still at Derby but moved on to Shrewsbury for the start of the season.

The home side line up:

Joe Hart, Henry Goe, Trevor Challis, Dave Fox, Dave Walton, Dave Ridler, John McGrath, Dave Edwards, John Grant, Ross Stephens, Liam Murray. Subs: Damien Stevens, Danny Bragoli, Rob Egginton, Carl Harris, Eddie Hope.
