Remco set for Denmark

The Dutchman was in the side on the opening day of the season at Sheffield Wednesday but was substituted just before the hour with the Clarets already facing a heavy defeat.

Three days later he was relegated to the bench for our Carling Cup tie at Bury but wasn't called upon. He hasn't featured since in the first team and has been restricted to reserve team football and a very occasional appearance on the first team bench.

Recently, for the cup tie at QPR when we were a substitute short, Owen Coyle said he had a kidney problem which had prevented him from being in the squad.

Now it looks as though he could be signing for Danish side Brondby, probably on loan for the rest of this season.
