Randall joins Millers

Millers' boss Ronnie Moore was delighted to be able to bring in the midfielder who has failed to establish himself at the Emirates. He's played a total of thirteen times for the Gunners, nine of those coming since his spell at Turf Moor, but his only Premier League appearance for Arsenal remains that as a substitute against Sunderland in May 2008.

He had a loan last season in League One at Milton Keynes in the second half of last season, scoring his first senior goal in a 3-1 defeat at Southampton in the Johnstone Paints Trophy.

Moore said: "Randall is a done deal. He will be here on Monday. It's fantastic for the club that Arsenal have allowed a player who has played thirteen times for Arsenal to come here. The lad wants to come, he fancies it and he'll be kicking his career off again. He'll give us an Arsenal kind of player."

Admitting he was a little bit surprised that Arsenal had allowed it, Moore added: "We twisted and knocked on certain doors, but he's a big earner and the chairman has backed us and allowed us to do it. He'll be here until January with the hope that he can kick on and we can do it until the end of the season."
