Ralph to make draw

As was the case in the 2002/03 and 2004/05 seasons, Ralph will be the club's guest and will be making the half time draw out on the Turf Moor pitch when he will receive, just as he did at White Hart Lane two weeks ago, a warm reception from all four sides of the ground.

The photograph included with this article is one of Ralph coming onto the pitch for the home game against Stoke in 1969/70. He had just been selected for England for the first time and he was running through a guard of honour from his team mates.

His last appearance for Burnley against Spurs was in March 1971 in a game that ended 0-0 on the Turf. The team that day was: Tony Waiters, John Angus, Les Latcham, Geoff Nulty, Colin Waldron, Martin Dobson, Dave Thomas (Doug Collins), Ralph Coates, Paul Fletcher, Arthur Bellamy, Steve Kindon.
