Premier League Stats - 3rd to 5th October

Last updated : 05 October 2009 By Tony Scholes
Behind those two there are a cluster of four clubs seperated by just one point. There are the two other 'big four' clubs along with Spurs and mega-rich Manchester City.

Down at the other end of the table Portsmouth's win at Wolves gave them their first points of the season but they were somewhat fortunate in that they got away with a stone wall penalty for hand ball. Hull, another team to win and West Ham are with Pompey in the relegation places.

Our win has taken us back into the top half in ninth place as we continued our run of winning at home and losing away. I think we need to change that in the next game.

Below are the results, the weekend stats, the leading scorers, each club's disciplinary record and the next set of fixtures after the international break.
