Points shared after Norwich defeat

Wade Elliott
Wade Elliott - 11 points clear at the top
There really was no outstanding player in this game and those who have finished top of the man of the match vote and player ratings didn't really turn in performances that suggest they should be top.

Kyle Lafferty missed three good chances to get Burnley back into the game whilst we were 1-0 down but he's won the man of the match poll with 22.4% of the vote. Robbie Blake has taken second place with 19.0% whilst Wade Elliott was third with 11.2%.

Blake finished joint top with Brian Jensen in the player ratings. They were the only two players to score even an average rating with both on 6.0 out of 10.

Behind behind them in joint third place were captain Steven Caldwell and midfielder Alan Mahon, the latter was introduced as a second half substitute. They both had ratings of 5.82 out of 10.

It is now very much a two horse race for our player of the year. Only Robbie Blake can pass Wade Elliott and he pulled back four points in this game leaving Wade eleven points clear at the top. It would be a big surprise now if he didn't win it.
