Penalty saves make it Jensen's night

Jensen had turned in a good performance during the 120 minutes and was certainly in the running for the man of the match, but he certainly clinched it during the penalty shoot out with saves from Wayne Bridge and John Obi Mikel that ensured we went through to the fifth round.

He took over half of the vote in the man of the match poll, in fact totalling 53.2% of the vote whilst Michael Duff came in second with 19.2% and Steven Caldwell third with 9.5%.

It was no surprise to see the same three taking the points in the player ratings on a night when the ratings were high and rightly so. Jensen was again the winner with a rating of 9.46 out of 10, not far short of his rating from the Reading home game.

Duff was again ahead of his captain in second place with a rating of 9.19 whilst 8.96 was enough to give Caldwell third place.

Jensen wins six points towards the player of the season, Duff four points and Caldwell two points. Those points have taken Jensen into seventh place in the Player of the Season table, whilst Caldwell has moved up to fifth.

Voting continues for the QPR Man of the Match until the end of today.
