Paterson fee goes up

Part of the deal, it transpires, was a further £100,000 should we reach the end of season play offs. The win against Bristol City confirmed that and Scunthorpe can now expect to receive that further payment.

Paterson has ended the season with twelve league goals, although only two of them have been scored in 2009 although both of them proved to be vital goals. He got the goal in the 1-1 draw at Birmingham and more recently scored the only goal in the televised win over Sheffield United.

I suspect that Scunthorpe could be due another payment if we won the play offs, and I'm sure that we'll be more than happy to pay it.
