Pash started his career with the Clarets, making his debut in the 1975/76 season just before we were relegated from the First Division. He wasn't able to establish himself in the first team and joined Blackpool for £30,000 after an initial loan spell in August 1978.

He was a regular in their side and made over 200 league appearances for Blackpool in five years before moving on to Bury where he once again passed 200 league appearances before retiring from the playing side in the summer of 1990.

That wasn't the end of his career in football. He returned to Burnley that summer to head the Football in the Community and was later appointed youth team coach by Jimmy Mullen, the position he still holds at Burnley surely making him the longest serving member of staff.

Tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. he will be on the touchline as the youth team look to gain a third win of the season against and from there it is to the Turf and the first team game where amongst other things he will be making the half time draw.
