He claims that any abuse of Mo Camara relates to a foul in the cup tie yet it was Ian Moore who committed the foul he talks about.
Alastair Campbell has written a damning article about Saturday’s game in this morning’s Times newspaper whilst Stan had words on the subject in the after match press conference but the Millwall Chairman has hit back at Campbell saying: "You are belittling a serious issue if you are saying you cannot boo black players. I'm fed up with all this nonsense.
"It is beneath contempt for Burnley supporters to accuse us of racism just because they lost."
And then on to our manager’s comments Paphitis said: "Stan must have extremely good ears because I didn't hear any racist chanting and I was only sitting a few yards away from him.
"We had plain-clothes people in every stand after our supporters were accused of racism in the first match and none of them heard anything either. Camara committed a bad foul on Matt Lawrence in the FA Cup game here a couple of weeks ago and that's why he was booed. He'd have been booed if he was black, white or green.
"I'm sure Tranmere will have some black players next week and if one of them whacks one of my players-guess what - they will get booed the same as a white player would."
Stan was fuming after the game and after talking about the match he added: "The abuse of Camara was absolutely scandalous. The people who did it should be locked up. Of course it's racist. What else is it?
"There were monkey chants when we came here in the FA Cup and it's the same again this time. It's a BNP stronghold here. We know all about that because we've got them in Burnley."
Paphitis retaliated: "We have done more than any club to stamp out this problem. I've spoken to Stan and told him it's not on. He says this is a BNP stronghold but what does he know? I doubt if Stan knows what BNP stands for. He probably read it on the back of a cornflake packet."
Paphitis has done neither himself nor his club any favours whatsoever in attacking Campbell and Ternent. I know the two of them well enough to know that neither of them would make this up and that neither of them would react unless they thought it was serious enough to do so.
It was Paphitis’ own club who told Clarets Mad two weeks ago that they had received no complaints after the FA Cup tie from Burnley Football Club, any player, the referee or the assessor or the police.
Does Theo Paphitis still stand by that comment from his club or will he now admit that there were complaints?
There is obviously a problem here that needs dealing with, nobody refutes the progress made by Millwall Football Club over the last year and a half but they have to accept that problems still need to be dealt with and aiming childish and incorrect insults at people who criticise, as Paphitis has done, are doing them no favours at all.
There has to be a full investigation on this and the sooner the better.
