Dimitri Papadopoulos - first call up to the full international squad
News came yesterday that Taylor has retained his place in the Welsh squad for their trip to Baku to take on Azerbaijan.

Although he isn't expected to get a starting place, he could well be set for a place on the bench this time having had to sit and watch the Italy game from the stands at the Millennium Stadium.

This match is on 20th November and this means he won't miss a Burnley game and neither will Dimitri Papadopoulos who today has received his first call up for the full Greece squad for a match on the same night in Athens against the Republic of Ireland.

This is superb news for Papadopoulos who has not only been a regular member of the Under 21 squad but also the captain and he now gets the chance to make his first appearance at full international level.

For the Welsh it is a European qualifier but for Greece a friendly against a country now looking for a new manager following the departure of Mick McCarthy.

Best of luck to both Gareth and Dimitri from Clarets Mad.
