Owen Hargreaves - in the England squad for Turf Moor
Many experts predicted that Michael Owen would make his international return in this game. He suffered a cruciate ligament injury in last summer's World Cup and has just returned to action with his club Newcastle United.

His is not the only big name in the squad. He's joined by our man of the tournament from last year, Bayern Munich's Owen Hargreaves, a player who could well be playing in the Premiership next season with Manchester United. The midfielder broke his leg earlier in the season but is now fully fit, has been back in the international set up and is playing regularly in the Bundesliga.

Other players who should ensure a good attendance at the game are Spurs trio Aaron Lennon, Ledley King and Jermain Defoe and such as Stewart Downing and Paul Robinson, members of Eriksson's final squad are also named.

We've even got a local flavour with David Bentley (Blackburn) and David Nugent (Preston) both named in the twenty man squad named by Steve McClaren.

The full squad is:

Goalkeepers: Paul Robinson (Spurs), Ben Foster (Manchester Utd).

Defenders: Phil Neville (Everton), Joleon Lescott (Everton), Michael Dawson (Spurs), Ledley King (Spurs), Gareth Barry (Aston Villa), Nicky Shorey (Reading).

Midfielders: Owen Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Phil Jagielka (Sheffield Utd), Aaron Lennon (Spurs), Kieron Dyer (Newcastle), Scott Parker (Newcastle), Jermaine Jenas (Spurs), Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough), David Bentley (Blackburn).

Forwards: Michael Owen (Newcastle), Jermain Defoe (Spurs), Alan Smith (Manchester Utd) David Nugent (Preston).
