Our Friend yet again

We've had mixed fortunes with him in terms of results and definitely in terms of performance. Last season in the 4-2 win at QPR and the 5-0 defeat at Palace he had excellent games, but at Watford and the previous season at Wolves he had shocking games, getting too many big decisions wrong.

At Reading this season we certainly couldn't point any fingers at him for the result, but his sending off of Stephen Jordan in stoppage time was ridiculous and totally unnecessary.

That red card is one of four this season in 32 games and there have been 92 yellow cards. Three of the four red cards have gone to away players. His yellow cards have again shown a big difference between home and away players; just 30 have gone to home players and 62 to away players.

Should there be any cards there's no doubt they are much more likely to be our players, hopefully he'll keep then in his pocket.

He will be assisted by Chris Francis (Cambridgeshire) and Geoff Law (Leicestershire) whilst fourth official duties will be in the hands of Richard Beevor (Suffolk).
