One day extension for season tickets

As a gesture of goodwill the club have now extended the discount to include tomorrow and they will be open from 9:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They are hoping to beat last year’s end of April total of 7,111.

At 4:30 p.m. today they had sold 6,905 and with supporters still arriving at the ticket office and a number of postal applications still to be processed it now looks as though they could make it.

The club’s Marketing Manager Edoardo Abis told Clarets Mad, “We are delighted with the number of season tickets sold during the discount period.”

It is the final total that matters and Chief Executive Dave Edmundson said some time ago that the club really needed to at least keep the same number of season ticket holders as we have this seaso. With the response so far it is now looking as though that will happen.

And it looks as though we are buying tickets for 1^st Division football too.
