Off to the Don Valley

Marc Pugh - plays tonight after sitting on the subs bench last night
In recent matches Ronnie Jepson has had a more experienced line up to choose from but tonight when the reserves head for the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield he has to start the game with ten scholars and one schoolboy from the Centre of Excellence. The schoolboy is Kayne Hanley who has been offered a scholarship for next season.

With injuries, suspensions and returning loan players it meant three of the scholars found their way onto the bench last night for the first team and these three will all be in the starting line up at one of those very strange football venues.

The line up is: Michael Hale, Danny Pitham, Gary Carter, Ryan Townsend, Paul Scott, Marc Pugh, Darrell Avery, Joe Booth, Tom Ince, Kayne Hanley, Rhys Carpenter. Subs: Mark Crossley, Nicky Platt, Rob Henry.

We have no news as yet of the Rotherham team.
