Off to the Deva

We will travel to the Deva Stadium on Thursday 30th July to play a Chester side that has just been relegated from The Football League and is hoping to be accepted into the Blue Square Premiership.

That will depend on the club's current situation since they fell into administration on 17th May and next Thursday will be an important day as they have a meeting with their creditors.

Club secretary Tony Allan said of the fixture: "Mark Wright (manager) and Simon Davies have been working hard to fix up a pre-season programme and this fixture against Burnley is something of a coup for them."

They have also confirmed other pre-season games against Droylsden and NEWI Cefn Druids.

See the Clarets Mad Calendar for a list of all our pre-season games.
