O'Connor now back at Bournemouth

When he first returned to Dean Court it was thought he might spend the full season there but earlier this week Steve Cotterill intimated that it could be a loan that would see him spend the first half of the season with the League One club.

Today they have signed him on loan, but initially it is for just two months although Bournemouth have said that could be extended. If it were to be extended to January that would have to be done before the end of August, otherwise the loan could be extended by just a further month taking it to the maximum 93 days into November.

O'Connor has admitted to enjoying being back at Bournemouth and it is now up to him to impress new manager Kevin Bond enough to persuade him to extend his stay with them. He's very popular with the Bournemouth fans and certainly won't have any problems with them as he settles back into League One.
