Chris Eagles - October winner
Martin Paterson scored the first two goals of the month in the 2-2 draw at Norwich and Jack Cork was next on the scoresheet three days later as we drew 1-1 at home to Doncaster.

It was then the turn of Chris Iwelumo and Ross Wallace. Both of them scored in the 3-2 home win against Watford with the third goal coming from a Graham Alexander penalty.

The final two choices are the goals scored in Saturday's televised 2-1 win against Derby; a first Burnley goal for Tyrone Mears and a second of the month for midfielder Cork with his late headed winner.

That's seven goals in total with two each from Paterson and Cork and one each from Iwelumo, Wallace and Mears.

The monthly winners so far this season have been Chris Eagles (August v Morecambe), Iwelumo (September, the second of his hat trick as we came from 3-1 behind to beat Preston 4-3) and Eagles again (October, his first in the 3-0 win against Barnsley).

Voting started this morning and will run until the end of Friday with the poll, as always, on the front page of the site.
