Northern Ireland call up for Lafferty

Lafferty will be available again for Burnley for the home game against Colchester on 9th February but three days earlier is expected to line up for his country in a friendly against Bulgaria at Windsor Park.

He is one of four strikers called up and will be up against David Healy (Fulham), Martin Paterson (Scunthorpe) and Linfield's Peter Thompson for the starting positions. The Bulgarian squad will include players such as Dimitar Berbetov and Martin Petrov, both having good seasons in the Premier League.
