The game was always in doubt once last night's Lancaster City v Gateshead game was called off and this morning's news came as no great surprise. With fixtures having to be fit in now as the season's end gets ever closer surely the game could have been switched to Deepdale. Mind you Preston reserved playing in Preston is probably stretching it a bit.
There is no new date for the game as yet and we now have two reserve team games to re-arrange with the Barnsley home game also looking for a new date after being postponed last month.
