No trialists on tour

Austria's version of Gawthorpe
All of the new signings will be making the trip to Austria but there is no place for either of the French trialists Cyril Eboki Poh and Lionel Djebi Zadi who both featured in the two home friendlies in the last week.

It is expected that all sixteen of the full time professionals will be on the flight tomorrow along with Steve Cotterill’s backroom staff as they continue their preparations for the new season.

There are no surprises in there and it now appears unlikely that there will be any further new signings prior to the new season which means starting with an even smaller squad than last season.

The Clarets fly out from Birmingham tomorrow and will be based at the National Sports Centre in Obertraun for the week but will travel to Ebensee and Freilassing for the two matches.

The training camp will be familiar to the players, it looks a bit like Gawthorpe with a bridge leading over the river from the changing rooms and the hills in the background.

The players expected to be on the trip are: Robbie Blake, Graham Branch, Mo Camara, Richard Chaplow, Danny Coyne, Michael Duff, Tony Grant, Micah Hyde, Brian Jensen, John McGreal, Ian Moore, Matt O’Neill, Joel Pilkington, Lee Roche, Frank Sinclair and Paul Scott.
