No go for reserves

Despite reports that the under soil heating was switched on the pitch has been declared unfit and tonight's reserve team game against Bury cannot go ahead. It was postponed following the 1:00 p.m. pick inspection.

Unlike the youth team there is no major panic as yet for the reserves although they have still played just eleven games all season.

They are next in action a week tonight when they take on Tranmere Rovers with the return fixture the week after. These are two vital fixtures with Tranmere just one place but four points above us. They are a side we must climb above if we have any chance of avoiding relegation and entry into a poorer league than the one we are already in.
