No game at Padiham

At the time the two clubs were hoping to re-arrange the game for tonight but that has proved impossible and in any case the Padiham pitch is still suffering from the excessive rainfall in the area during the last fortnight.

It looks now as though there will be no chance of the game being played which is a blow to the Padiham club who were hoping for a good crowd to help raise some money towards the cost of installing floodlights without which they cannot win promotion.

The youth team are next in action this coming Saturday when they take on Preston in the first Youth Alliance League fixture of the season.
