No FA charge for Wade

Wade Elliott
The incident came when referee Chris Foy awarded a free kick to the home side for a supposed foul by Elliott on Pascal Chimbonda, and the free kick ultimately led to the equalising goal.

The award should clearly have gone in Elliott's favour but despite being just a few feet away the flag waver got it wrong. There were suggestions of a stamp from Elliott but match referee Chris Foy, who missed the incident, has taken a look at it and could not confirm that he would have sent Wade off.

Therefore, that's the end of the matter and he won't face an FA charge that could, if proven, have led to a three match ban.
