No changes to squad

Skipper Graham Branch is still ruled out with a calf injury
There have been suggestions that both Matt O’Neill and Joel Pilkington have injuries but that has been ruled out by the club who have reported that Branchy is in fact the only player currently injured.

Matt and Joel would be very unlikely to feature in the squad though with us now being able to find five subs without them.

Everything is pointing to us keeping the same side that went out of the cup and none of the other players in the squad impressed in the reserve team game on Wednesday.

Should we stick with the same starting eleven we will line up:

Brian Jensen, Lee Roche, Mark McGregor, David May, Mo Camara, Glen Little, Richard Chaplow, Tony Grant, Neil Wood, Robbie Blake, Ian Moore. Subs from: Dean West, Bradley Orr, Paul Weller, Alan Moore, Luke Chadwick.

Ipswich have been boosted by the early return to Fabian Wilnis from a shoulder injury and should Joe Royle decide to bring him back in it could be at the expense of Driss Diallo who has himself only recently returned from a spell on the sidelines.

Much has been said of Diallo’s departure but it was revealed this week that even before last season had ended he attended an Ipswich game. He also told the Ipswich web site today, "Although it was difficult to say no to Burnley, I was always going to join Ipswich after speaking with the manager.

"Everything about the place is so professional, the stadium, the pitch, the training facilities. It is Premiership standard."

Tommy Miller has passed a fitness test but Chris Bart-Williams, who was a sub last week, is ruled out with a back injury.

Ipswich are likely to name the following side:

Kelvin Davis, Fabian Wilnis, Richard Naylor, John McGreal, Matt Richards, Tommy Miller, Jermaine Wright, Jim Magilton, Ian Westlake, Shefki Kuqi, Darren Bent. Subs: Lewis Price, Driss Diallo, Pablo Counago, Martijn Reuser, George Santos.
