The Football League confirmed to us Wednesday morning that the 2nd round will be the same as last year with half the clubs in a seeded group and the other half unseeded.

The positions are determined by each club’s finishing position in the league last season. A year ago the Clarets comfortably made the top half of the draw after finishing 7th in the league but this year have scraped in to the group in the bottom position with their 16th place in last season’s Division One.
