No approach for Cotterill
But as our manager prepares his side for the home game on Saturday against Southampton he has said he knows nothing about it, just read about it as most others have done. He told the press this morning at the pre-match press conference: “I don't know any more than you have read.”
In response to a suggestion that it is a reflection on our good start to the 2006/07 season he added: “Probably, yes I would say that. We have done well but it has been a team effort, I don't think it is anything specifically to do with me. It is everything to do with everyone.”
There has been something of a shift today as the tabloids move on to another potential victim and Cardiff's Dave Jones has suddenly been thrust into the spotlight, another club to have made a good start to the season.
