News from Gigg Lane

The Judge at the hearing at the High Court in Manchester this morning said he was happy for them to continue until the end of the season and that gives them more time to try and sort out the mess they have found themselves in.

I know many Burnley fans have bought seats at Gigg Lane in the past week and latest suggestions from Bury say that the club have made over £100,000 so far from this initiative.

Not only that Bury Football Club yesterday passed on their thanks to individual players and to clubs for their help and I am delighted to say that Burnley Football Club were one of those named along with Newcastle United, Sunderland, Charlton Athletic, Manchester City, Manchester United and Oldham Athletic.

Amazingly supporters at the Manchester United v Bayern Munich game on Wednesday evening tipped up over £14,000 in sterling and also some Euros as the buckets came out.

Clarets Mad are delighted that Bury Football Club are still in business and that they will still be playing tomorrow and until the end of the season. Now just make sure you are still around next August for next season.
