New venue for Clarets

Tranmere play all their home reserve games at the Ellesmere Port ground and tonight’s game kicks off at 7:00 p.m.

There is no team news from either club just yet but Steve Davis can expect to include the unused subs from last night, and with his suspension now complete it would be no surprise to see Frank Sinclair involved again, as he was last week in the defeat against Bury.

With Garreth O’Connor the other experienced player likely to play, it will be a relatively inexperienced Burnley side but an opportunity for some of the younger players to stake a claim for a place in the first team.

We’ll have news of the game later this evening – after our first ever visit to the ground.
