New striker on view

The player in question is striker Don Goodman who was released by Walsall at the end of last season, the same Don Goodman who made his Football League debut for Bradford City before the Clarets were ever threatened with 4th Division football.

During the 90s he was involved in two big transfer fees as he moved from West Brom to Sunderland for £900,000 and then from Sunderland to Wolves for £1.1 million. Besides all the clubs mentioned he has also played for Barnsley in England as well as Castilla (Spain), Sanfrecce Hiroshima (Japan) and Motherwell (Scotland).

Will his next port of call be Turf Moor? From what we can gather that seems unlikely and it is believed that Goodman was just training with us. However should he sign then I don’t think you will have much problem in recognising him.
