New players to take on Burnley

Tommy Mooney
Our opponents tomorrow are Stoke and they have today signed Birmingham City striker Tommy Mooney on a three month loan deal. Mooney, who was previously with Watford, goes straight into Stoke's squad for the game tomorrow and will almost certainly find himself in the starting line up.

With that news having just arrived came news that Millwall, our visitors on Tuesday, have also signed a new striker. In their case it is Southampton and former Chesterfield and Blackburn player Kevin Davies who is currently out of favour at St. Mary's.

Davies was linked with the Clarets last season but nothing came of it. He will make his debut for Millwall at Portsmouth tomorrow and should line up against the Clarets on Tuesday.

Tuesday's game will be the first game this season to see away fans banned. Despite reports elsewhere the real Millwall fans, season ticket holders and members, have been made welcome at Fratton Park tomorrow whereas they have sadly been banned from Tuesday's game at Turf Moor.
