The leagues have been very regionalised in the past with Burnley initially playing in a predominantly Lancashire group before expanding into a Merit League alongside clubs from the North East down to the East Midlands.

That’s not the case this year and the North West Conference has been increased by six with Chester, Macclesfield, Port Vale, Shrewsbury, Walsall and Wrexham being added to the ten teams who were there last season.

That gives us a total of thirty league games as well as the Youth Alliance Cup that saw us just last May lose in the final against Swindon.
