New keepers for Clarets?

Fraser Forster - linked with the Clarets
It has been a guessing game recently as to who might be in goal for any particular game. Jensen survived the Plymouth howler but not the one at Hull, whilst Kiraly was yesterday ousted from the team after just three games following his howler last week against Wolves.

Alan Nixon in the Sunday People is now suggesting that Coyle will make a move to bring in an experienced goalkeeper on loan for the rest of the season after seeing Jensen's punch lead to Preston's winner yesterday.

He's also suggesting that we are chasing Newcastle's 20-year-old goalkeeper Fraser Forster. The young keeper, like our current first team coach Steve Davis, is from Hexham and is under contract at St. James' Park until the end of next season.

Forster is still to make a first team appearance for the Geordies but has played in fourteen of their reserve team games this season.

There's been no confirmation from the club at all, it is just tabloid speculation, but it would hardly be a surprise to anyone to hear that we might be looking at new goalkeepers given what's happened in recent weeks.
