New goalkeeper search - will it be Forster?

With Nicky Weaver gone and Diego Penny not in the plans, Laws has targeted the Newcastle youngster who spent last season with Norwich City. It looked as though a one year loan deal was about to be completed last week but what Laws described as a snag at the Newcastle end had delayed it.

It's been suggested that Newcastle boss Chris Hughton hasn't, as yet, decided whether to let him go out on loan or not, there has been a thought that an injury problem has delayed any decision whilst now it is reported that it all depends on whether Tim Krul, second choice keeper, signs a new deal.

This morning's report from Coyleite Nixon now suggests it could all happen - time will tell.
