Brian Jensen - set for new deal?
The six are Jon Harley, Brian Jensen, James O'Connor, Jay Rodriguez, John Spicer and David Unsworth and the manager has already said that he will offer deals to some of them and not to others.

Rodriguez we know is to be offered a new deal, Owen Coyle said as such a couple of weeks ago. As for the other five, it is a matter of wait and see but the suggestions right now are that there will be new deals for our longest serving player Brian Jensen who joined the club in the summer of 2003 from West Brom, for James O'Connor who also arrived from West Brom in March 2005 after a previous loan spell, and for David Unsworth who signed after the first match of this season after being released by Wigan a year ago.

If that's the case the two players to be released will be Jon Harley and John Spicer. The confirmed news is expected from Turf Moor either later today or early tomorrow, and then it is a matter of waiting to see who Coyle brings in once the transfer window opens.
