New clubs for Crichts and Jimmy

Paul Crichton - now at Accrington
Paul Crichton has had a hell of a season so far after being released by Premiership club Norwich City in the summer.

His first move was to join Chris Brass at York but that ended abruptly when he was sacked after an altercation with York supporters during their away match at Gravesend.

He quickly found himself another club, joining Stafford Rangers on a week to week deal but he was on the move again in no time when he returned to the Conference with Leigh RMI.

However, there’s been upheaval there with manager Phil Starbuck going and he found himself released. And so to his fourth club of the season, and a return to East Lancashire with Accrington Stanley.

Stanley
have had all sorts of goalkeeping problems this season and he will go straight into their side for today’s match at Barnet.

Last week Jimmy Mullen said his goodbyes to Ludlow where he had been managing this season and that sparked speculation that he could be on his way to Bromsgrove Rovers to replace Joe Jackson.

That has just been confirmed and he now has the task of trying to move forward with the under achieving club. He is their fifth manager in the last 18 months and I’m sure all Burnley fans will wish him well.
