More players to come in?

Stephen Jordan - one of the summer signings
Barry Kilby admitted that things had changed at Burnley and said that he couldn't remember the last time he sat next to three fit players, as he'd done at Colchester, who were not involved on the day.

Kilby agreed that we'd had a good summer in strengthening the squad and said: "We'll see how we go. We've been lucky and I think we've done some good business over the summer. I think Steve has done a good job bringing in some class players.

"Our minds remain open and if a bargain comes up we need to sit down with Steve and see what we can do."

Brendan Flood agreed with that. "The bottom line is, if we can get a good player for good value we will look at it, that is where we are. Steve is very careful about who he gets, that they are the right people and that they are right for this season and the next seasons.

"He's realistic with the tools he's got to work with. We have been very supporting with the player we got at the end of last season and at the beginning of this season."

Steve was also very careful in not spilling the beans on who any targets might be, choosing to discuss with us coaching methods and the use of Prozone stats.
