Delroy Facey - during his loan at Burney
This morning Delroy Facey signed a two year contract with League One club Rotherham United after spending last season with Tranmere Rovers where he scored nine goals in forty-one appearances.

It's almost three years since he joined the Clarets on loan and he played sixteen games for us, scoring five goals including a hat trick against Walsall on the Turf. His other two goals came in the same week away from home. He got the consolation goal in the 6-1 defeat at Ipswich and also scored in the 2-2 draw at West Ham.

Just past his 26th birthday, Rotherham will be Facey's tenth club and incredibly his sixth since he last pulled on the Claret & Blue shirt for Burnley.

Yesterday Drissa Diallo, released after one year by Sheffield Wednesday, decided to sign up with Franchise in League Two. The defender had another season of injury struggles in 2005/06 and started only eight league games for the Owls after leaving Ipswich.

We wish Facey and Diallo good fortune but do hope that come the end of the season Drissa will have helped his side to another relegation.
