Monday date for youngsters

It will be an eagerly awaited game for the young Clarets after their superb performance just over a week ago in beating Fulham but this will be a difficult tie for them against a side who last night defeated last season’s winners Ipswich Town.

Terry Pashley and Vince Overson will be hoping to have as strong a squad as possible available for the game but we have three games to come before that, starting tomorrow morning when we play on Macclesfield Town at Gawthorpe.

We follow that up with a Youth Alliance Cup game at Chester on Wednesday before returning to Gawthorpe to take on Wrexham.

The tie against Liverpool will kick off on Monday 30th January at 7:00 p.m. and admission is expected to be the same as for the last round which was £3 adults and £1 concessions.
