Mo, Robbie and Stan

Mo Camara - linked with Coventry
The Robbie Blake saga continues with some conflicting information being released by the two clubs. Burnley have said he is not for sale but Wigan boss Paul Jewell has suggested that it is only a matter of them not matching our valuation.

Steve Cotterill though said yesterday that Robbie was going nowhere and that means Wigan will have to look elsewhere to strengthen their squad.

Meanwhile it might be that we have to fight off another offer for one of our players with Peter Reid supposedly keen to take Mo Camara to Highfield Road. There doesn’t look to be too much in this one but it certainly is an indication of just how well Mo is playing at the moment for the Clarets.

And finally to Stan who might just be on the verge of a return to football management down at Gillingham. A good friend of Andy Hessenthaler, Stan was rumoured to be one of the favourites for the job but then Dave Bassett and Colin Lee looked to be the front runners.

I spoke to someone this morning who believed that Stan was on his way to the Priestfield and although Scally is still touting the names of Bassett and Lee it wouldn’t, given the source of the information, be a surprise if it is Stan who is unveiled at tomorrow morning’s press conference.
