Mo claims his place

Mo Camara has won the left back position and again, just as Marlon Beresford and Gary Parkinson had done, he has won it comfortably and won over 45% of the vote.

That was three times more than Lee Briscoe and Tom Cowan who finished in second and third places with around 15% each.

Mo has just recently left the club after two years in which he played in all but two of the Clarets games. Probably his best form for the Clarets came in the first half of last season and it was during that time he scored his one and only goal in English football in our Carling Cup win against Aston Villa.

He’s now searching for a new club although links with Celtic and Ipswich do seem to be fading for the former Wolves full back, our best left back of the last ten years.

We now move on to the first of the two central defensive positions – voting runs from today until the end of Friday and that will be followed by the second in that position on Sunday.
