Since that game he has been in charge of two Premiership games, one in Division Two and the FA Cup tie that saw John Mullin's goal put Premiership Southampton out. They seemed to have passed quietly with no controversy and eight yellow cards in total.
He has though still failed to keep a clean sheet all season so we can expect at least one yellow card at some stage tomorrow night but I do have to say that other than his performance at Norwich last season I have been impressed with him and he does appear to be one of the better referees around just now.
